We like to randomly sing (poorly at that) songs at work to get them in each others heads and I actually recited a Supertramp song the other day...
Good band. Probably some of the best starting 30 seconds of top rock songs. I never new much about the guy, person wise though. And I have a couple SuperTramp albums
I've come to the conclusion I only want to know artists by their work, and not let their private life colour my perception of them on stage.
Roger Hodgson's long guitar lead fade out at the end of Goodbye Stranger is one of the best in pop rock - ever

I agree, but the off stage fawning for people who are just as failed as all can be a bit much - screams the old man standing my his lawn looking up.
I was going through the couple of records I have in the living room. Most of them are recent purchases, others are some I brought up because I want to listen to them when I have some free time. Anyway, just noticed Supertramp- Famous Last Words was in there.
