the toyota versions have literally dozens of computer numbers, depending on what the car is equipped with currectly.
Seems off GM would only have a few..

Just ask the dealer to give you a copy or look at the recall instructions from GM. It will have a P/N list of what comes out and what should go in.

I am sort of confused because Pontiac Hotline tells me the replacement part for my 08 vibe should be...19205372.... it comes off GM bulletin 10282D
the ecm I have in now says...89661-02R50 then to confirm the LOT number the 4 digits for the lot number are 7157 which means it's a defective replacement ecm due to be replaced..

The toyota system for that does not have an updated part.
So it would be down to the batch number.
If it is on the affected batch, it wold be replaced.

Seeing threads like that I am glad I work for a Ford dealer where our part numbers make sense.

The link I posted in my first reply was from March 2011, which for some reason does not list part #19205372.
However, the recall data on page 3 from the earlier February 2011 release shows part #19205372 as the replacement for the 89661-02R50.
