With monroe sensa tracks, WOW what an improvement!!!

Turns like a champ now, braking is better, and even driving over dirt and bumps I barely feel them. And I have 10 ply tires inflated to 55 pounds.

I did the same thing on my blazer and loved it. I put reflex on the front and sensatraks spring overs on the back. Very nice

I had 128k miles on the originals. They have been worn for a while but I never got around to getting the shocks.

Should have done this a looooooooong time ago.

I have new struts on my cavalier.. My grandfather had them installed at Sears, so I have no idea what brand they use. Probably OE parts, but they make a huge difference over the old ones.

if they are black they are probably the same ones I got the sensa-tracks!

when i worked at Sears a few years ago we used Sensa-Trac or Reflex if the customer special ordered them. if it was the random car we didnt have anything for we usually bought out dampeners from Carquest which were reboxed KYB GR-2s.

I debated between the KYB GR-2 and Monroe Sensa-Tracs when the Saturn needed struts.

Ultimately, I went with the KYB GR-2 struts. Now, the car rides quite harsh, and you can definitely feel every bump. While it's possible that the springs are getting weak on the car, I still think the Sensa-Trac would have been a better choice.

They are expensve, I paid 200 bucks total at NAPA for the re-badged ones. Cheaper than Kragen. But worth every penny, also has a "lifetime" warranty. Not sure of the fine print on the warranty though.

I purchased mine from a friend who works at a large internet parts website. I think I paid about $180 shipped for all four.

Monroe's warranty policy is great. When they wear out or start developing issues, you can call Monroe and they will send you a set of replacements and work with you to return the old ones. No fuss, at all. On the other hand, KYB will only replace struts if they are defective or leaking, but Monroe will even warranty them for normal wear.

I love companies that stand behind thier product.

Made in USA
Great Warranty
Great Quality

I could not have asked for more

Meh, I'm not impressed with the Sensa-Tracs on the Quest. Besides, the ones I've got are made in Mexico and Argentina.

I've got KYB on another car, it rides a bit harsher than OEM Toyota.

I'm still rockin' the stocks on my '95 Integra.

I could probably benefit from some new ones.

Tenneco bought Monroe way back in '77 iirc. But they still have a large engineering arm here in Monroe Michigan. Dont think they make any shocks here in Monroe anymore.
I know they do still have a pipe and exhaust plant out in Marshall Michigan.
