Replaced spark plugs

04 Chevy Avalanche 50k miles on the old plugs
Out: NGK tr5GP
In: NGK tr5IX (on sale $5ea)
The old plugs came off no problem. Installed new plugs without any anti seize. Truck ran normal before and after new plugs. Will run these for 50k miles

50k is what the IX is rated for, so no problem with that

ive seen 200k mile plugs, they were the champion equivalent of the ix and the ground strap was heavily worn. the iridium looked alright, it was slightly round

Thats roughly when I change plugs too. 100,000 kms and I toss them.

I change them about that often in my Honda Civic because plugs are inexpensive and it's a 15 minute job.
