Excuse my ignorance for this question. We are constantly told that when first running the Redline oil in an engine that any UOA's can come back skewed as the oil does considerable cleaning and what not. Just curious if you switch out the transmission fluid would a future analysis of the transmission fluids be skewed as well? Just trying to get educated on the subject...Thanks in advance for any replies.

It's possible, although I can't remember anyone here commenting on it. I have used D4 ever since it came out and have done UOA's here and there, never really noticed any spikes in metals.

Honestly even if you did there is no proof that this truely means anything. IF anything, the D4 will help your trans to last well past what it would have with a lesser fluid. I have one good example of this, 1992 chevy suburban, D4 most of it's life with only a couple changes to get most of the old atf out. It's currently at 200K and shifts like new.
