Before y'all say anything I did do a search and didn't really get my question answered, so I'm gonna make this short and sweet.

Would it be more beneficial to run an OCI of Redline, say, every 15-20K miles to keep the engine clean..providing of course that Redline DOES clean (which is what I've heard)..or would it be better just to let the engine get to around 80-100K (or sooner) and run Auto-Rx in it.

Just something I thought about, wanted to see if I could get some opinions.

I think Redline does clean. How about continuous cleaning by running a half quart or so of Redline every OCI?

Make a brew.

Well, I have thought about that, but didn't know how it would react to say, M1 or GC. I know, I know, oils are interchangable and so on and so forth. But, isn't Redline a high ester oil? And, inversely, M1 or GC is not, right? Steer me in the right direction if I'm off track...

There are UOAs on this site where folks have successfully used a quart Redline mixed with M1.

It is sacrilege to adulterate GC. Don't do it.

It is not even advised to have GC stored with other, non-GC oil stash.

But Redline, I would guess could really perk up a plain old dino oil.

Redling also keeps more metal in suspension then other oils many times. Molekule has said this repeatedly when working on air craft engines using ester based synthetics and oil analysis.

Thanks guys. I think I might try the RL/M1 mix when I've used up my GC stash, which is 24 qts lol, so it may be a while. Heck, I might even do a RL/Hav mix after the GC is gone...sound like a plan or do y'all think the RL/M1 mix would be better?
