Rear end oil in motorhome

I have a '83 33'Coachmen MH on a Chevy p-30 chassis that is going to get a new axle seal.What oil should I have put in?

Hello ,
I,d say you have to get that answer from the manufacturer of the axle ... Get hold of an owners manual , back then I don't believe they used synthetic yet , I think a standard 90 weight was used back then .... Important to follow manufacturers reccommendation ... good luck......
