The Pennzoil Platinum that I drained out of my Sequoia at 6,100 miles looked MUCH cleaner than that on the dipstick so I hope it was significantly longer than that.

Did you steal my dipstick? That looks exactly like the one from my Subaru, complete with the blackening sanded off. Mine would be that colour after 10000 km.

8000 miles / 12900 Km and 10 months.
By far a personnal "record" miles wise. Filter is a Napa Gold 1334. Previous OCI was around 6000 miles (10000 Km) with Motomaster Formula 1 Full Syn.
Yes it's my daily driver. I had inadvertantly overfilled the cranckase by approximately 1/4 inch when I did the OC in mid-november '08. The oil ran down the dipstick from taking it out a couple times for taking the shots.
First half of the OCI included a full Montreal winter with short 7 Km commute and weekly drives of 30 Km.
The second half of the OCI was much easier. My commute to work tripled to around 20 Km plus several longer drives in the 30-60 Km range. Plus a few week-end highway trips here and there. I also encounter heavy traffic on a regular basis.
I try to avoid starting the car for just moving it around or going to the corner store and prefer walking or riding whenever possible.
The XD-3 will be replaced shortly by Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 and a Purolator PP filter. With the longer commute, I kinda prefer to stick to a spring/fall OCI with Group III+ synthetic no matter the mileage.

Nice.. XD-3 is good stuff. I've still yet to run it but I will someday when I stop getting good deals on other oils 
By any chance did you check the Napa gold oil filter to see how it did for that interval? Im hesitant to leave an oil filter in for that long, but I see many on here do it and they know way more than me so yeah... lol

The XD-3 that I shown is the old formula with 12.2 of TBN that I had bought in Feb 2005. The price of the new formula has gone up considerably so I'm not bothering with it anymore.

Just did the oil change. 13302 Km (8266 miles) and 10.5 months.
