I'm in my 50's, and my youngest son is in his early 20's. Growing up, his musical tastes were somewhat unusual for a modern kid - James Brown, Al Green, and Buddy Rich. I introduced him to Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, the blues, and some other stuff. I also like some more modern stuff, including hard rock and metal (no thrash or death metal, though). So my son has been listening to Rage Against The Machine, and he says, you've got to hear this song.
I started telling him the lyrics before they happened. He said, "You know this song?"

Boy, was he surprised! Kind of like when I told him that Bruce Springsteen wrote, "Blinded by the Light."
