Rate this tire: Sumitomo HTR H4/T4s

Well, since I already have these on my Cobalt, I'd figure I's see how others were doing on their Sumis.....
 
Theyre a great tires for the money.

I may go that route when my wifes Mazda needs new summer shoes.

I BELEIVE, theyre made by the same company that makes Falken tires.

Some of the Sumitomos tread patterns are VERY close to the Falken 612's, which are excellent.

Now that is interesting...
 
Parents had a blowout on the 94 previa on the Indiana tpk. They got towed and got to a tire place - the only tire in their size was the t4. Got them put on the front. It really suprised me how quiet they are compared to the old Dunlop sport a2 tires. Seem to have a good deep tread too.

my falkens were made by ohtsu in Japan... I thought ohtsu owned falken...

Falken is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber, and was originally founded as the high-performance brand of Ohtsu Tire. So you're both right...
