The Genesis in my sig. Pulls to the left pretty good. I had the dealership align it yesterday but it’s still not right. Anyone know how to really read these things? If I hold my wheel perfectly straight, car dives left. Overall, it’s kinda hard to keep straight. Constant minor adjustments at on-center. Can anyone see anything in this alignment sheet? Just because it’s in green doesn’t mean it’s right I guess.

Not bad overall, but they'll have to re-adjust the rear toe so they are matched.

Could it be unbalanced tires? PSI proper?

Sucks man, a crappy alignment and off center steering is one of the most annoying things to deal with.

My Focus wagon had rear alignment similar to that and ate the inside of the rears. Also it was rear steering in the winter as the tires fight each other and when one hits a slippy patch, the other rear tire moved the back end over. IMO if rear camber is near the max allowed, the rear toe needs to be near the minimum allowed or vice versa.

They didn't show caster and uneven caster can cause pulling. Not enough caster also can make a vehicle wandering despite having negative camber and toe-in. Upside is very light steering.

Okay, going in tomorrow. They want to replace tires. Current set is Michelin MXM4 225/45/18. Car sat for nearly 18 months since production and they believe that may be causing some drivability concerns. Problem is, the replacement set are Hankook Ventus S1’s. Anyone have experience with these? I’m really hesitant to accept anything less than the Michelin’s it comes with. Not sure what to do but not going to turn down a fresh set of tires. The ones on it are already 3 years old and the cars not got even 500 miles on it.

Inferior to the MXM4s in probably every aspect but they're still a good tire. Especially if they're replacing it for free.

I cannot seen the manufacturer’s alignment specs.
is the steering wheel centered properly?
do you have different tyres on the left to the right.
how are the left and right tread depths?
and finally did you mention the problem to the technic?

I despise Hankook tires, I had 4 of them develop bubbles under the tread. I suggest you stay away from them.

I'm having a bit of a time reading the digits. But to me, it looks like you have toe-out up front. Toe out is awful and will result in a darty car that is difficult to keep straight.

Remember, you can't have one front tire toe in and the other toe out. They operate as a pair :)

Alignment will almost never fix a pull. A pull is caused by tires.

I understand your point, but alignment issues can result in some horrible driving characteristics, not the least of which include extreme sensitivity to road crown and tire ruts in the road. Furthermore, the weight of a driver affects the alignment. If the car is driven solo, align it with a driver in the seat.

They didn’t do a caster sweep. Caster can cause pulling. Without caster readings, you’re never going to be able to properly diagnose it

You are correct, they completely missed that and it's really important.

I can't edit my post above, but I misread the chart, you do have toe in.

That's an important bit of information. How much wear casn you have in 500 miles? either a tyre manufacturing defect, or your brakes are dragging from standing 18 to 36 months

Okay. So we settled on a new set of Michelin's. I dropped the car off on Tuesday evening and picked up Wednesday evening. They put on the new set of tires and perfected the alignment further. I get home and am looking at the tires and I notice this:

These idiots mounted all 4 of my tires inside out. Dropping off tonight and picking up in morning on way to work.

The guy I've been working with has been great but I think we're getting tired of seeing each other.
