Random SSD issues

I used AOEMI when I upgraded a Windows 7 laptop for someone. If it was me, I'd assume I did something to the boot partition or that the drive itself is bad. You can get an SSD for around $50 (try Newegg or Amazon) if you just want something to make the computer usable again. If you saved the old HDD and/or do backups to it, have you tried placing it back in to see if it's the connector?

Faster without what?

buy a replacement SSD, different brand, buy a USB case, clone laptop/SSD to
USB/new-SSD. note any errors (probably on source side).

then replace laptop drive with new SSD. just swapping may clean the SATA pins.

done this on several laptops, desktops, PCs and Macs. no problems but
new SSDs are Crucial and Western Digital. don't save 50 cents by
buying [censored]-SSDs. check the reviews if you buy from newegg or Amazon.

both crucial and western digital supply you (download) with cloning software,
for Macs use CCC (well known secret code in Mac world).
