what kind of quick detailer is everyone using here, i just polished my trailblazer with meguiars number 9 swirl remover and waxed with collinite 845. what quick detailer would everyone recommend for for a touch up a few days later to get off pollen dust and stuff

I use Pinnacle Crystal Mist. It's hard to find one that doesn't leave streaks on my black car. The Pinnacle has worked best for me but is not readily available locally so I have found that Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer will work in a pinch. If your car isn't a dark color then most any name brand stuff will work well.

Seems to me that most quick detail sprays are about the same and I've tried probably 20 brands. Over the counter, the regular Meguire's in the maroon bottle is a good value. The black bottle Ultimate Meguire's doesn't seem worth the extra money however their Ultimate Quik wax is pretty darn good and will extend your wax protection and gloss so you may consider that for touch ups. Right now, I use Griot's Garage spray detailer and it is pretty good and I like it the best so far. I have also used others both cheaper and more expensive and I can't tell the difference so go with whatever you like or what is cheapest.

I use Zaino Z6 but I mix it 50/50 with water to get my supply to last longer and I also find it a bit more user friendly this way and then it won't streak as easily if I'm using it in hot weather in direct sunlight. My supply of Z6 is almost done though and I've also got some Mother's Showtime and some Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer lying around that I will probably use up before buying more Z6.

Meg's is good, I am currently using Eagle One that I got at Big Lots and it is excellent and it smells good too!

I have used several different ones, and to be honest I can't see any big differences between them. Right now I have poor boy's QD and Meg's UQD and UQW...they do a decent job, but I doubt they're in anyway 'special'.

I really like the new Chemical Guys V7 (it's the orange colored one). I was using their Blitz as a quick detailer, but it's really just like waxing except it comes off really easily.

The V7 leaves my truck feeling like I waxed it and it sprays on just like the over the counter quick detailers.

I also found that Blitz left my paint sticky, so it got dirty pretty fast. The V7 doesn't. We've had heavy winds here and my trucks looking good after an entire month.

I bought a gallon of it and a spray bottle.

Usually use Megs, but lately been using Surf City Garage Hot Rod Protective Detailer spray & MF towels. Sometimes I use Slick Mist.

I too have tried many brands and I do think that most are the same but, I have my faviortes. I like the Wax-as-U-Dry, Mist & Wipe, Quick Detail, Wipe & Shine products.

I can tell a difference between the Eagle brand stuff I got at K-mart and the Mothers brand stuff I got at the autoparts store. The Mothers is a tiny bit less prone to streaking. Doesn't matter. I refuse to spend a lot of money on something like that. For the extra couple of bucks I can come back over the panel and wipe off a streak or two. Big deal. I'll have to do it again in a few days anyway.

I like the Surf City Garage spray wax and detailer
