Quaker state 4967 on a 04 corolla. on for 6 months or so, probably 5k KM. bought from canadian tire..7 bucks.

Sure looks like the Purolator design. Looks to be in good shape.
 
Odd. That's certainly a Purolator but it uses Champ's re-branded numbering scheme (Valucraft, STP, etc.), 4967 instead of the Purolator 14476.

Try the new Motormaster (Canadian Tire house brand) filter with the Black printing.
They look to now be Purolator mfg vs Fram and are cheaper than the QS branded filters.
Compare them on the shelf!

AFAIK, they are NOT purolator, and are made in China. Though they DO look vastly superior to a FRAM.

i put one of the new ctire filters on and will cut it whenever it gets its next change.
You have to watch out for those though, some of the gaskets aren't that good, some are uneven all the way around. The gaskets are also thicker than the QS.
