quaker state advanced engine full synthetic

hey guys i was just over at auto zone and they have loads of quaker state advanced engine full synthetic on closeout for 1 a quart. is there any info on this oil as the website doesn't have any info on it. bottle does say its sm rated. possibly the same as ultimate durability?

At a $1 a quart I'd clean them out....it's a very good oil.

Pretty sure that is just an old name for the full synthetic (old stock hence the clearance price). I can't comment on the formula change but @ $1/quart I'd buy it all like pbm said. Wish I was scoring some of those $1 deals around here.

I don't understand why there isn't jack sh*t for clearance oil around me! I'm talking, thousand islands to southern tier, genesee valley to mohawk valley. cuse-watertown-utica-oswego-ogensburg-cortland-plattsburgh-glens falls, nowhere.
I drive around too much n found not much oil deals, 10qts SM maxlife @ $0.5 m that's it

Our clearout price is $7.00 per quart for Castrol Edge Gold Bottle ... at a local Wally from $11 a quart.

Plattsburgh AZ is my local store. They ran a huge clearance about 6 months ago. Cleared out Peak at $3/5qt jug. QSAD 10w40, a lot of NextGen, Lucas also went clearance.
I have 4 jugs of Peak 10w40 left. I get tired of hunting down deals, so I decided to just use our shop's bulk oil and filters.

I think the $3/5qt. was a pricing error, at least according to what some AZs told me last spring when I went to pick up my jugs. For the most part they did still honor the price though.

It was legit pricing. My store didn't give me any issues with 6 jugs I bought.

Same here! I can't find any oil clearances at my local AZ's
