QSUD Price increase at WM

Noticed QSUD price at my local WM went from $19 5 qt jug to $26. Bummer. Just got some 3 weeks back at 19. QSUD price is now higher then PP. No more low price for good synthetic.

Don't worry, the price will drop once everyone returns all the oil that was advertised as FAR and was since denied the rebate.

still $20.57 here also if that price goes up most people wont buy it..I dont think it is so great anyway it does not clean as well as most oils it seems to stay clean too long and that is not usually a good sign when it comes to oils

HaHa i was just talking to someone and he just returned 4 5qt qsud because of the rebate situation. He is really mad and said he stopped using that oil because he feels he was duped (in his words)

I will check out another WM in area tomorrow. One thing I noticed was the QSUD label had changed and the front now says 'dexos' compatible on the front. Can thank GM for this one. Hopefully I can find some cheaper yet and pick up a bunch.

Walmart does regional pricing and assortment, meaning, prices and even the products they carry on the shelf may be different depending on what part of the country you live in. This is why Next Gen seems to be discontinued some areas, but doing strong in others. Regional pricing(even store to store pricing) also means that WM will test a price increase in a small amount of stores, just to see how much they price increase affects sales.

I am happy to say that I got my rebate checks for my QSUD purchases .

How many mis-marked prices can you find at Wally?? I always take advantage when they have Syn at dino prices. I just bring the oil up front and tell them. Nobody really cares anyway!Most are just waiting for the break. Still $20.57 !Finding 0-20 now is a much tougher task. I was told a number of times because most take the cars to the dealer atleast for the first year 0-20 is not a item places like Advance etc would stock. Every one of these stores have to be careful these days.
