rodgers? not that tough to beat. Look at last year. Hester, that is why he is on my team many posts ago.

I do think Rogers is great. But I do not think he is up there with Montana and Elway yet.

End result: Brady goes to the no-huddle and the chains will move.

Tom Brady? Eli Manning owns Tom Brady. Joe Montana 4-0 in SuperBowls. and uh, John Elway didn't win a superbowl until Joe Montana was out of the game.

Give MUCH credit to superb Jerry Rice for Montana's record.

And how about a coach pick?
You can't beat Mike Ditka for fun!
And football IS entertainment.

Not even close. Brady can not win championships now since he has to carry his team. When the Pats had a dominate defense carrying the team Brady got his rings. He will not get another.

This is like saying Terry Bradshaw is the GOAT.

I would have loved to see Marino throw to Rice for a season.

We can all agree on Russell Wilson as QB,right? OK, I realize he's yet to play a regular season game and all, but what can I say, I'm on the RW bangwagon. And I say this as a Steelers fan living in Seattle.

This is my all-time, all-seen team since it's really impossible to judge different eras.

QB - Montana, but I thought long & hard about Aikman
RB - Sanders
RB - Peterson
WR - Rice
WR - Irvin
TE - Winslow
OL - Munoz, Boselli, Jumbo Elliot, Orlando Pace,

DL - Bruce Smith, Reggie White, Charles Haley, Richard Dent
LB - LT, Lewis, Derrick Thomas
S - Lott, Reed
CB - Deion, Revis

P - Weatherford (no one better dropping it inside the 10. Watch last year's Super Bowl)

K - Morten Andersen

media makes that a bigger deal than it really is. Look at Mike Vick and Doug Flutie for example. I think Fran Tarkenton was tiny too, but I'm not gonna waste the time to google it.

Have you ever seen live video from a QB's view? I believe height does matter. Vision of the field I believe makes a big difference. Pus the angle of throws. Always throwing up vs flat or down.

^you are entitled to your opinion as am I. But those are some pretty legendary guys listed above who did just fine.

And thank you for sharing yours. And my post has been deleted - I am learning less about oil and more about peoples narrow view of their world.

What's saddest, Silk, is that your post was likely deleted NOT because it could have been misconstrued by a less-than-worldly mod as having a racial undertone; but because you were making a reference to *foreign* football!

I'll bet there were a lot of well-meaning but too-lazy-to-Google members that may have reported your post, thinking it was inappropriate.

At the very least it requires a heavy modification of pass protection schemes from the OL standpoint to allow for some throwing lanes. That, or (if you have a reasonably mobile QB) you call a lot of roll out plays to get your QB the opportunity to throw a line drive. Without that, I agree with you: Asking someone 5' 11" to try to make decisions while looking at/ around/ through a bunch of guys 6' 6" whose hands are like small trucks is asking for trouble.

The best football team (soccer to America) of all time was Brazil national team of World Cup 1970. They showed what "Beautiful Game" is, no other teams ever display the flair on the field as they did.

Back to American football, I like Stealer of the 1970's and Miami of the 1980's
