Purolators look like Wix now

I just bought an alottment of Purolator Premium Plus filters for my fleet. The center tubes look like the spin flow type that Wix uses, with larger holes than what Purolator had before. I say it looks like an improvement!

I'll cut open a Purolator L14477 "OLD" when I change the oil on my Corolla. Then, you'll have to wait another 4 to 5K for the "new" filter.

I purchased a few Purolator L14477's recently and also noticed a difference in the center tubes, although I thought the ones with the smaller holes looked better constructed.
