Also, earlier I mentioned PAC3 somewhat in error but didn't give enough good words to SM6/SM3 blockII or more. SM a beautiful thing - a program that works!

We have not brought into discussion, the massive about of artillery that NK has aimed at Seoul. No way to intercept that. Unless its all taken out at once, which would be difficult, Seoul will get rained with artillery. I've read estimates at 12,000 to 15,000 pieces of artillery.

Basically if we strategically take out missile ability, he might unleash artillery on SK.

How to shut down the regime? Cut off their money supply.

From foxnews.com: This is how a 3rd world poor country can get $$$ for a nuclear missile program:

"“North Korea has both an overt and covert economy through which it gains money,” said Bruce Klingner, a Heritage Foundation senior fellow who suggests North Korea’s money flow is very diverse.

“The overt economy is predominantly sales of natural resources,” he said. “The covert economy is harder to estimate, but consists of weapons sales, the counterfeiting of U.S. $100 bills . . . production and distribution of illegal narcotics, cigarettes and pharmaceuticals, including Viagra, insurance scams, money laundering, and cybercrime.”

According to Klingner, that laundry list of dubious activities extends to “skimming the wages of North Korean workers overseas” and North Korean diplomats “involved in illegal sales of wildlife, rhino horn and ivory.”

It is nearly impossible to have a dialogue about North Korea’s finances without mentioning China.

“Without China, North Korea would be in a state of collapse,” explained Nicholas Eberstadt, an American Enterprise Institute scholar and North Korea expert.

“China is the huge and dominant actor in exports and imports for North Korea. North Korea’s main activities include developing weapons of mass destruction so China supports that, of course.”

Along with illicit activities such as counterfeiting and drug sales, Eberstadt suggested another possible point of supply.

“Other things we don’t follow terribly well are overseas sources of wealth that belong to the Kim family stashed in Macau and other places,” he said."

I'll try to stay away from discussing politics here but I'm not sure if it is going to be 100% effective.

I firmly believe that Kim the 3rd is not that stupid as to really shoot an ICBM into Guam. I think, this is just a prank he did to manipulate the market so he can make a few bucks.

The current POTUS double down on the shouting match as you would expect him to. He called bluff as expected, and probably someone (China?) has convey the intention between them and let the market ride it out. Then nothing after a few months of cool down.

Seoul would be in the cross fire and all the big money in the world has too much to lose if Seoul (or Japan) got hit. The big money on the side would fold and buy out Kim, and then everyone is happy.

I ain't afraid of no nukes. Nothing but the foeces du jour; classic, standard-issue posturing and chest-thumping and guess who doesn't care one bit......

Do you guys actually believe North Korea could land a missile in the United States ? Most of their missiles either blow up on the launch pad, or wander aimlessly towards the sea of Japan without ever reaching a target.
