PRO LINE PPL 10241 CUT OPEN

Off 9f a friends 2017 Ford Fiesta 1.6? Engine. Had this and whatever oil place uses for 5,000 miles. Put a Tough Guard and some QSGB 5w20 in and on.

Looks quite good, thank you foe posting. I've used plenty of these filters in the past along with the purolator 10241 on the Mazda3 previously in my signature. Along with lots of PROLINE, PEAK & SUPERTECH oils.

Looking back, this is the second PepBoys PPL 10241 you've posted that looks quite good. Last one was run ~8k, was ok too. For jobber tier filter, very respectable. And adbv baseplate design that shows no indentations/cuts. Appears central part adbv narrow enough, no compression spring pressure directly on inlet holes. They should use the same design for other applications. Thanks for c&p.

Probably because the paper is more porous (lower efficiency0

So has less differential pressure = no torn media
