I have been using the Trufuel non ethanol gas in my yard equipment. I'm still having carburetor issues even with that special fuel. If the saw, weedwacker or whatever sits a few weeks the carb gums up and they won't run.

I cant get pure gas here at all so that's not an option. Has anyone tried any other brands of pre mixed gas?

Be more specific type equipment MFG? I do run VPracing SEF and blend my own with Mystic Sea&Snow. Never a problem all 40:1 sthil saw Echo blower Tananka commercial trimmer always stored and kept wet.

It's all i use anymore and have had zero issues using it.My weed wacker sits unused more than it get used.Cpl pulls and it fires right up.Weed wacker, back pack and hand blower all Echo.Never any problems with any of them.

I have 2 husky weed wackers and all I do is fill the tank with gasoline oil mixture and that is it. Just two hours ago after sitting from the end of October until today the trimmer has sat untouched. I shook up the gas and primed the carb and two pulls it was running like a champ.. The canned gas is a scam. I have owned the trimmer for 17 years and it has always been good.

Yet I've always used e10 and have no issues...

Perhaps it's time to stop blaming the fuel?

Buy gas and mix your own. 40:1 or 32:1 TC rated oil.
I add a ounce per gallon of SeaFoam and I never have fuel issues. I leave gas in my saws and weedwhackers. I have left gas for months without issue.

mac 3200 chain saw, echo cs370 chain saw, echo 225 weed wacker. Just spent $80 getting my echo saw repaired. I spent 2 weeks goofing with it, finally gave up and took it in.

ill try the sea foam. I saw non mixed gas somewhere in town and may try that with my torco oil i really like.

I use AV gas and Motul, no problems and I live in a hot climate also. Sometimes the mix can slowly leak out of a grommet, when it does the air filter seems to grab the pure oil. That's the only issue I've had with non ethanol mix and it's only it I store it incorrectly.

I like Stabil but any stability additive will probably solve your formation issues. Your environment can definitely be part of the problem. Gasoline is subject to being attacked by microbes (bacteria); it begins to deteriorate as soon as it leaves the ground at the well, actually, since almost all oil wells are contaminated with the relevant bugs. But like any microbes, heat and humidity can increase it's activity, and can also cause water contamination in fuel storage or the device's tank, which feed the things. All the fuel stabilizers will have fungicides in them for this very reason.

Alcohol is a fungicide, your use of Alcohol free fuel might be contributing to the problem. As for what to use, the only thing I would say, as it seems important to you, is Sea-Foam contains alcohol.

I too agree that you should be mixing your own fuel. Premixed anything is generally the most expensive option in my experience, and you can be pretty much assured they are using the cheapest products they can find as their base ingredients. Maybe super-cheap isn't so bad, but in that case shouldn't you be choosing exactly which bargain brand stuff to use instead of a company whose mandate is to profit from their choices?

You could probably get "pure fuel" at the airport or a local track.

If different fuels cause the same issue I'd only put enough fuel in the tank to do the job I'm on right now. Let it run dry and there's nothing to gum up.

i have added stabil. The stuff in the bottle is supposed to contain it already. I cant find e0 here except maybe an air port.

That's strange.

My Echo blower, Echo gas weed eater, and Honda lawn mower have never had the carbs touched. All sat all winter and fired right up with 8+ month old gas.

My Honda ATV is 12 years old. I've never once turned the fuel off and it fires right up. Not always thrilled about it with old gas but it's always started. Changed the jet for a higher elevation one 2 years ago and it was spotless inside the carb, never touched before. Hasn't been ridden much in years.

Chris, Aviation fuel, that's what I would use. 100LL is formulated to last for years and is good in any conditions that you can survive in.
