Just got back from my local Walmart and noticed a tag for Platinum 0W20. The spot was empty however, and the associate working near the oil section had no clue what I was talking about when I asked about it. Price was $24.97

My wal mart has never had anything but 5w30 and 10w30, The Penn Plat was 18.75 for the last 2 months but when I went in today it was 24.75 and Mobil 1 had gone up to 26.00 unbelievable. I guess I will have to go to the PYB and do shorter change intervals. I didnt mind spending the difference in 14.75 and 18.75 for synthetic and doing longer oil changes but no way can I pay 10 dollars more per jug.

Nice find ! wish I would see it around here. I am sure it would get a real test with the winters in your neck of the woods.

I have never seen any PP 0w20 around here. Not even in the 1 qt bottles. The only place I have seen it is at Jiffy Lube.

Seriously? It's $10....that's about 2.5 gallons of gas. You will forget about the $10 by the next day.

Pennzoil doesn't make the 0W-20 grade in multi-quart/L jugs - you must be looking at 5W-20.

Up here, only a couple of stores carry PP 0W-20, and it's only in quarts.

Yup I've been using Mobil AFE 0w20 want to try this now, from a bottle shake it seems lighter. I want to see a VOA.

They are carrying them now in 5 qts jugs but still no sign of QSUD 0w20 or Synpower 0w20 jugs at wally.

I disagree. 5 qt jugs of PP 0W-20 (Says "for Hybrid Engines" or some such blather.) recently appeared on the shelf at my Wal-mart where none had existed before. I am quite certain of my ability to tell the difference between a 0 and a 5. I even bought one, since the Toyota dealer refuses to deal on the 0w20 I really want.

There's always the possibility, however, that I accidentally paid with five 0-dollar bills...

Heck! I paid $5 aqt in 1978 for M1 5-20, but it was well worth it. Run a quality synthetic for 10K. No real differance in price that way.
