Pour point - questions PP vs other Synthetics

SO, PP has changed its formulation. Is it still a good oil and one of the "better" over the counter "Full Synthetics"? Or is it now just another run-of-the mill snthetic neither better or worse than the others. I was making the switch to PP, (I have 12 quarts that I will have gotten basically for free after receiving the rebate) but now, after using it up I may go back to M-1. I have not decided for sure yet as it looks like PP still stacks up very well with M-1 (in 5W30 wieght) except for the pour points.
Then again, maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. I have used Pennzoil conventional oil exclusively in two different autos in the past and had no oil related complaints. One had about 185,000 miles and the other 225,000 miles on it when I got rid of them.
