Location: NORTHERN ALBERTA
Gen: 4000 watt with a small starter and small battery
Oil winter rating 10W. It probably would do OK, maybe crank a little slow.
On the other hand, NOW I know you camp in Alberta winter in BC. Gen won't be started in the frigid outback. Should be perfect.

Installed new Stens air filter and lubed the mower spindles. Then while lubing the chassis, etc. I found a worn right front wheel spindle and a badly worn wheel hub. Found some good prices on Amazon to replace both. This will be my last OC on this tractor before moving to PA in November. It has served me well for 13 years. Tractor will convey with the house sale.
Wife's Gravely with Kawasaki FX got it yesterday. Out Kawi I forget what grade oil and Kawi filter. In Kawi 20w-50 with another factory filter. Air filter replaced with a Kawasaki repackaged Donaldson piece. Spark plugs are Autolite Powersports platinum so they were left alone. I really like the way it runs with these. The mower itself got a pair of Ecco 2" square led work lights added low upfront to fill in the shadows from the factory lights.
No, after 22 years on the Outer Banks I am wimping out and moving to a Pennsylvania community where all outside services are included. At least I'll still have an oversized garage for DIY work on the vehicles, but there will be no OPE.
