Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

AAP oil bundle, $43. Father-in-law will get OC on his Renegade this weekend. I already had what I need in my oil stash for his but if I don't go buy new oil/filter just prior, the funds won't come for reimbursement. This way he gets new receipt, eventually whatever is in stash gets used up anyway. I have 13.5qts of Delo XSP 5W-40 for his from AAP clearance. Each OC is 5.5-6 qts so this weekend and 1 more, after that it will be other 5W-30 from stash (PP Euro L, M1 Vanilla, VRP)

Costco Kirkland 0W20, $29.95 on sale today. I also stopped by AutoZone and picked up 2 STP filters for my 2018 Nissan Rogue and my wife's 2014 Rogue. It's not time yet for an oil change on either one but I wanted to take advantage of the sale at Costco. I will do both oil changes probably sometime in January or February.

^^^^^ BITOGER.....

Purchase oil and filters 5-6 months early to catch sales. 😁 😁 😁
I have enough oil for the next two oil changes in both of my cars so I’m good for more than a year ahead. I can’t resist when Canadian Tire has a good sale combined with a good amount of Canadian Tire cash back as well 😃

Or in the case of my latest oil change just purchase the oil on clearance about 5 years in advance.
I still have M1 EP for my Legacy, 4 PP for my Impreza and a crap load for the CRV; 3 more VRP and maybe 4 - 5 Kirkland. Plus, I have 2 Castrol Edge for either Subaru and 1 more VRP probably for the Legacy. I'd say I'm good for a while. Will probably buy 3 more VRP for the Legacy when the time comes. Plus, I have 16 filters for both Subarus and a few Fram Ultras for the CRV. I'll need filters for that car before I need oil.

Not 5 years in Advance but I was close to it with the Impreza.

We're not going to talk about what I have left, between all the clearance sales in 2020 and the great pricing fiasco of 2021, I still have way too much freakin oil.

I'm not saying that's bad. Thinking of the "what makes a true BITOGER" thread. 😁 🫣 I'm just as guilty as described.

My latest purchase above means I now have 7 Honda filters for 3 Honda's in fleet for future. Add to that 1 Hyundai/Kia filter for my son or daughter-in-law with both their cars 8 hours away. After this weekend still 1 spare for Renegade.

7 x 5qt jugs of VRP/PP Euro L, 17 individual qts of variety HPL/VRP/M1, the 3 full gallons of Delo 5W-40 from AAP clearance and remnants in jugs to be used up in next oil changes.

I missed out on any pricing fiasco but I guess that's a good thing. I don't have any more room! It also means that I can use the VRP much sooner.

In filters I have like half a dozen filters for each car I service, I have one old style XG9837 left for my Trailblazer and 5 of those Partplus PH59EXs, for my dads I have like 3 Xg3600s, an Amsoil 3614 equivalent, and a few of those higher bypass VW/Audi filters that are the same size as a 3600 . I have like 6 XG3593As to use on my mom's Oddyssey, 4 XG9018s and 2 of the newer wirebacked ST9018s to use on the Malibu. Then the oil, I don't even have an inventory anymore, probably like a hundred jugs betwen the 5W30, 0W20, 0W40, 5W40, 10W40 and then like 90 jugs of Mobil 1 15W-50.

Picture the headline like NY does with different things. "The suspect was found changing oil on random vehicles, when investigated by authorities he was in possession of dozens of filters and hundreds of quarts of oil".

He claimed to prosecutors he was just trying to help people and has an oil addiction and may require rehab.

The members on social media with him say to themselves that's normal for a weekend outing and may have close to the same.

Motomaster OEPLUS 5W30 Domestic Extended Performance. it says made with Shell technology on the jug, but the oil does not look like any Pennzoil North American products. does not look like Pennzoil Platinum and does not look like PUP. it is the most beautiful oil i have seen. when we changed oil in my nephew 2019 Mazda CX-5 GT Turbo, the oil pour was a thing of beauty. the oil is pale gold color with no shades of amber. i will also start to use this oil in my own vehicle. it is not a cheap oil. it is same price as Pennzoil Platinum.
