I know we'd all like to see how cheaply oil can be stashed in these days of ever increasing prices for everything from fuel to food.
By FAR, I mean that one actually paid less than or equal to the cost of the oil compared to the amount of the rebate. The oil is still going to run around .50/qt after sales tax and postage.
My current FAR stash consists of:

3 jugs Ultra, 27.57 less 3.00 hang tag coupon less 25.00 MIR.
4 jugs G-Oil, 26.00 at Wally's, less 26.00 MIR.
25 qts QSUD, 3.99/qt at AAP, less 20.00 MIR on five qts.
1 jug NextGen, 18.XX, less 20.00 AMEX gift card.
There have been some great deals over the past year.
I'm not including the six qts of VR1 I got FAR, since I used them last summer, so they're no longer in my stash.

NextGen has some great deals going on. If you call Valvoline, they will send you an email with a rebate. You can go to any store and buy NextGen, mail the receipt with circled store you bought from, and they will send you a check for the amount you paid. I was confused at first, but called Valvoline today, and they said, that is how it works. So, it ends up being free.

I just can't get myself to stash oil. However, I just might break the trend before the Advanced Auto deal runs out and buy oil for next year since I do a yearly OCI.

Yep, got my 6 Quarts Valvoline VR1 Racing Full Syn stashed!

The time I've spent $17 on 7 qts of Nextgen at Walmart I was happy. The 5qt jug I bought had an expired $5 off coupon tied to it. The cashier tried the coupon and the total price rang up $17. I thought I was gonna spend $25 but man that was a good day.

Now they have quarts on clearance for $5.00 at PC Walmart (only walmart here to carry it). I could get synthetic cheaper than that!

What number?

1 (800) 832-6825. I called, "hit 5" to speak with a customer service rep. I asked them about nextgen and they said if you give us your email address we can send you a link for a rebate. I hit the link, it asked for my name, and address. I filled it out. It's a rebate for up to 30.00. I asked can I buy the oil from anywhere? The guy said, yes. You will just be reimbursed for whatever you paid up to 30.00. Rebate form has what you need to mail in.

Now that's a deal.
I'm sure the Granada will like it spring, summer and fall.

I've never been one to argue with FREE stuff. I'll start using it in my Buick as well. It's CF/SJ rated.

I stashed 10 qts of QSUD and 10 qts of NextGen for free basically.

Got my AMEX card and am still waiting on the other rebates.
