OK, let's see what you've got! Travel trailer, motorhome...let's see your mobile escape pods! I'll start...This is our 2010...yes, 2010...Serro Scotty HiLander we picked up June 21 at the plant in Bristol, Indiana. Made to look just like the classic Scottys from the 60's & 70's, but with modern technology. Also have a "video tour" I took of it up on You Tube: Serro Scotty HiLander

They did a great job on the retro-modern look. That wheel well treatment is superb. Make sure you hit up Rt. 66 to help bring it "back to date". It needs a classic tow vehicle. A 1965 Galaxy 500 4 door with under the dash tons of chrome AC would do it.

Hi Gary...the wheel well sets it off! Short story, the original Serro Scotty company burned to the ground in PA in 1997 and all records, blueprints, etc. were lost. The RV dealer in PA who restarted Serro Scotty bought a '67 HiLander and reverse engineered it to come up with a blueprint for the new ones. It wasn't completely to spec, but as you can see by the '67 in this pic, close enough! They took the basic outline and refined it a bit...eliminating some windows to reduce leakage that plagued the originals.

Not mine but here are some of grandparents rv's over the years:

Current 04 Itasca.. bought it new (the only one bought new) has 50 or 60k on it now. Alot of memories in this one.

97 Jamboree Ralley.. didn't spend alot of time in this one.

84 or 85 Tioga.. alot of memories in this one more than any of the others combined. Got rid of it when it hit 100k. Most of us grandkids visited the western side of the US in this RV.

There's one more a Honey Bear I haven't found a picture of yet. The 2 between the Tioga and Itasca they didn't keep very long because they were either too long or they didn't care for the floor plan. Sadly their driving the RV less as the gas prices climb. Can't blame them for that reason not sure we'll get one.
