So, somewhat stronger though not a whole lot lighter...but I guess a lot of bragging rights for the princely sum.

Not particularly attractive either, IMO. Which means they'll sell as many as they can make and will be even more valuable when the cars they're fitted to reach classic or vintage status.


Anyone know how the "Fiberride" wheels on the '89 Dodge Shelby CSX have held up?

Nothing! Except they don't fit modern cars (esthetics) . I had a set of Speedline (for those uninformed a very reputable company) that weighted 6,7 kg in 5,5X14, and a set of steelies in exact size that weight 4,9 kg. Quite a difference.
