Canada Post is completely funded by stamp and parcel rates and 0% by the government. They also generate a profit every year. My FIL worked there for 40 years. This all came to light when the previous government was trying to axe pensions and CPC along with the union went to the media showing proof that it generates revenue for our country on-top of properly funding the pensions and covering their own costs and that it wasn't subsidized by the tax payer here.

Keep in mind that our rates are higher than USPS so this is most likely why.

There's lazy incompetent idiots in every business, and I've had my fair share of run-ins with the post office. With that said, I'd hardly call anyone who delivers mail worthless. Get off your high horse.

Tracking numbers say the mail box was blocked? It also gives you the options of what to do next I believe. Carriers are out working, so best to talk to him/her at the site. All mine are nice, once I talk to them.

I filed a complaint as he's been doin this alot to other residents as well come to find out.

I also know nothing about what's going on in your particular situation, but your thread states "people who deliver mail->worthless", insinuating that ALL people who deliver mail are worthless. A bit extreme , and inaccurate at best. YOU have a problem with your mail carrier, so they are ALL worthless ? I agree with jeepman, get off your high horse.

I would leave a note in the box for the carrier with your name and phone number asking him to call you.

Then you can speak with him directly to see what is going on.

If he doesn't respond in 2 days, I'd see the Postmaster.

Too many bad things can happen if you start blaming people without all the facts. There may be a legit reason for what has happened. Probably not, but maybe....

USPS can deliver a letter to neighboring states and within one day for $0.50 typically.

They deliver my Amazon packages Sunday and no else does it.

I am not whiny person.

Did you talk to the carrier personally as any normal adult would to determine what the problem was?
If not, then you really have nothing to post nor any legitimate complaint.
I think you'd find life easier and more satisfying if you went to the responsible person first rather than looking for some third party to deal with your perceived grievances.

Update:


This has happened to more people then just myself ,a total of about 15 others had issues with this carrier as well. After talking with others,we filed complaints and talked to the post master,so I'm a thinking someone is gonna get moved to another route.
