I have more questions but the other thread was getting off base. I have a street and strip corvette and want to use it in it. Will i see a benefit of this over conventional over the counter oils!!! Same question for a bracket race camaro i run it is only 12 to 1 comp and turn no more than 6800 rpm. Will this pennzoil work better than the conventional, over the counter oil also.. I have ran in the past alot of redline and mobil1 oils and am just wondering will the pennzoil work for me at a 4 or 5 dollar a qt savings

Thanks in advance

It's a good oil. My local Walmart sells a five quart jug for $20. My question is do you have a flat tappet cam in the Camaro? If you do and have no cat. convs. you might want to try Brad Penn racing oil or Valvoline VR-1. Good amount of anti-wear agents in there.

You are not going to get more power.
Long term oil life is the benefit.
For a car like that sees probable low miles per year, I'd use dino.

The corvette uses a flat tappet hydralic cam, and i put adder in with the oil. If i use the pennzoil synthetic do i still need the adder to it?
