Peak OEM Asian Brake Fluid

Marketing for the dumb consumer. Meant for people like my sisters that know how to check and add brake fluid, but if they spot that on the shelf, they will gravitate to the PEAK ASIAN brake fluid instead of a non descript DOT 3-DOT 4 brake fluid next to it on the shelf.

I assume its the same fluid in different labeled bottles, Asian, North American vehicles looking at the SDS sheets.

I like Peak OET Asian AFs, matching OEM Asian Phoat AF attributes.

Here though, unless it's the same or less cost, as noted buy a Dot 3 or Dot 4 BF of your choice and go with it. No need to overthink it.
Same here on the AF.

I think used plain old Prestone the last go around. It seemed to go really dark toward the end. (Admittedly, I let it get away from me).

Recently, I used an old batch of Honda fluid, and seem to be feeling a bit of brake fade. (Bottle was sealed, but about 5 years old).

I was kicking around trying something different - and the Peak caught my eye because of my experience with their anti-freeze.

It is probably a CCI product.

I can get the Honda DOT3 in quarts nowadays for under $10, so…
