The car has 148K. I'm just wondering to switch to an oversize filter. Much obliged.

If you can find the "old" OEM filters, they were slightly bigger. Acura backspec'd everything to the slightly smaller ones years ago.

I have 2 PL24458 PureOnes left over from my Honda Accord. I think I have a couple of regular 24458s too. These were the oversized 4459s for your app.
PM me if your interested.

+2

Wix/Napa 1334
Purolator L1445
SuperTech 3593A
Champion PH2808

The 97 Integra already specs for the larger PL/L14459(Puro). Later (~2001+) Honda began using the smaller (narrower) 14610/7317 size, which would also fit a 97 Integra.

I'm not aware of anything larger than what's already called for on the 97 Integra.

The Wix(Napa Gold/Carquest Blue) clones with 1334 in the p/n are the largest filters available that are 'specified' for a large number of 92-00 apps such as the Honda Civic, not sure about Acura.

The Wix 51334/Napa Gold 1334 are the equivalent of the previously listed OEM Puro size PL/L14459. And again, somewhat larger(wider) than the 14610/7317 size now used by Honda.

I've also used the Wix 51344 before. Its bigger than the 51334 by almost an inch in height.
