our brave '03 Elantra

This car just completed a 5000 mile (to and back) road trip from NC to Colorado, and got mostly around 34 mpg.
best was 36.9 mpg, and worst (in Colorado hilly areas) was 29 mpg.
apart from the hiccup going up Pike's peak (o2 sensor going bonkers and CEL, which was cleared and never came back), the Elantra was great.

I've only been in an Elantra a couple times and I was impressed. What impressed me most was that the owners bought it for $10k new with power windows, locks, sunroof, CD player, and decent materials quality.
