I periodically share pics of unusual or older filters that I come across in my dealings with imported cars. Perhaps some of you remember a few unusual Italian made filters I posted last year. Anyway, today this one came in. and it was one I've never seen before.

It was in a typical Beck Arnley box, but it's a "Coopers" brand filter, made in UK. I vaguely remember that Coopers was either affiliated or made by either Croslands or FIAAM...but I am really not sure. This one is FL1A sized. Seems nicely made...just wish it was a different color!

I bought this to use, so I am not going to cut it open (yet). After it gets used, I will cut it open and post pics. I am curious to see the construction myself.

I'm thinking I'm leaning not to use this. Probably will never see another one...

Both Bolivian filter "factories" use orange, as well as LYS from Peru.
All three are among the worst filters in the market.
