Hi all,

About a year ago i got a smooth tip off a poster's comment on this board about a website that had great deals on oil filters if you bought in bulk.

I am looking to make a bulk filter purchase for me and a friends rides. 2x Motorcycles, 2x Trucks, 1x Car. Seems like a decent order if i buy around 4-5+ filters eachl.

Problem is i cannot remember the name of the website for the life of me, hoping someone can help me out on that front.

Also, if you guys have any websites that you like to purchase bulk motor oil/gear oil/transfer case oil, i would greatly appreciate mentions of those as well.

I am familiar with those two sites but it was more like a fleet company style website and i believe both filters and oil could've been ordered from the site, had a very simple 90's era style utilitarian design with i believe a graph like order sheet (could be wrong about that)

thanks for the mentions though.

I want to say if you ordered like 10 filters you could get them as cheap as 3-4 dollars each for the nice Purolator Pure 1 or Wix style filters

Williams Oil Filter Service Company, Tacoma, Washington. Google it for every brand, every size.

FWIW, my local Napa will give an additional discount to their "Farm & Filter Sale" if you buy 10+.

Per filter, its about 50% off which still is a decent price.

This includes all Napa Gold filters: fuel, air, oil and cabin IIRC.

Five percent discount code easily found on the net.

This. I've gotten "wholesaler closeout" filters for $.91 to $1.41, add 50 cents each for shipping when you get the right number in the box.

!IMPORTANTE! Ship to your BUSINESS ADDRESS. The price will drop during the checkout process once they recognize it as non-residential.

Well, the OP may want something a little fresher and a little higher quality than the typical closeout offer from Rock.
Thanks for the shipping tip, though. I'll try that with my next Rock order.
Rock does offer some insane closeout deals for parts that would be quite nice if you happen to need any of those parts.
From what I've seen, Fleet Filter offers good pricing on quality filters.
If the OP were to Google oil filters for sale, he'd probably find a bunch of sellers who could supply his needs at a discount.
Another possibility is to shop store sales and use MIRs on known good brands, or to check out the local NAPA and see what they'd be willing to do for a decent sized purchase.
It isn't all that hard to find quality oil filters at a deal price and it's sometimes cheaper just to buy from the local B&M and avoid shipping charges.
While Rock may offer some insane deals, their shipping charges are often insane as well.

Now that makes sense.

I just thought it was because they recognized me as a returning customer. Today for example, I went from $7.99 to $5.99 on a reservoir tank.

Heck if I want a great deal which I do; I took Bullwinkles advice and use/used ZORO Supply as Baldwins for me are well under $70 and get to me within 3 days. Brother was looking at Rock auto and wasn't impressed with their stuff either
