ok to use fuel stabalizer all the time?

I don't see why not.

I try to run a mixture of 2 oz MMO, 1 oz Stabil, and 1oz Amsoil PI or Redline SI-1 whenever I fill up.

I used to run some TWC-3 through there too, but I ran out and am shopping around for a good deal. (It took me 4 years to go through 1 gallon.)

I don't drive much anymore. I fill up once every 2 weeks for my car.
My truck can go months between fill ups. The truck gets parked out back between jobs. It gets 2oz of Stabil per tank and the mixture of stuff up top.
I've had the truck for 3 years, it's used and has 112,000 miles, and put on less than 3,000 miles a year.

I just replaced the fuel pump in my 2002 Ford Taurus after 191,000 miles. The pump still worked fine, but the gasket around the pump wasn't and was leaking fuel. I think my mixtures helped out with that pump lasting so long.

However, I've never really kept up with the lifespan of fuel pumps online.

I'd put 1 oz of Stabil for every 5 gallons if it is parked for a month between drives.
If longer, 1 oz per gallon is the dose I use on lawnmowers and other lawn equipment.

It should be fine as long as you use the correct stabilizer to match the fuel. It will cost you more $ and probably isn't needed for vehicles that are driven on a semi-regular basis.

I stabilize all my fuel that gets stored in the little red tanks, whether I think it will be used quickly or take years...

Does stuff like Sta-Bil really work? I have a brand new bottle I bought about 3-5 years ago and never cracked the seal on. I will want to use it in my motorhome for extended stays for sure if the stuff really works like they say it will.

I figure that sta-bil works.

I put 10 gallons of gas and a full bottle of sta-bil into the tank of my Nissan, figuring it was going to sit for 9 months while I was at school. Fast forward 6 years and I finally got around to picking it up. Amazingly it ran (albiet a little rough) on the gas in the tank after all that time.

I often do, or close to year round. When it's near the end of the mowing season, I start dosing it with Stabil, since the snow can literally fly at any time here, and the same goes for the snowblower near spring. My snowmobile gets the same treatment. The old F-150 got some long before I last parked it.

No you don't. It has one built into the bottle. I use it year round in my lawn equipment. If I don't use it my stuff won't run at all. With it my mower starts first pull.

I use all the time...Sta*Bil and MMO both in the same doseage(1oz/2.5gal) for my OPE and(4oz/10gal)for my '80 Firebird FORMULA V8. I think the carb'd engines run better.

I figure a measuring cup will be easier for large doses in a big 36 gallon fuel tank. Plus I will be using Techron every 2nd or third fill-up and need to be able to measure it out too... unless I just dump two 20oz bottles in which would be a bit too much perhaps. 1oz per gallon, it would gave 4oz too much for a full 36 gallons.

+1 all of our OPE get sta-bil year round. Never had a fuel related problem since, even with gas that is 1 or 2 years old.

I have also started using the diesel version of sta-bil in our diesel storage tank.

I have used Stabil for decades. Keeps the fuel system clean and lubricated. If your engine sits for more than 2 months use it.

sta-bil works so long as your fuel is fresh and moisture(water) free.

Don't tempt fate by adding stabil in already rancid gas, or old/dirty gas with water in it. It will not work and will not restore the fuel's already lost "essence" within.

Too many a time I see posters posting away on boaters forum or similar, bitxhing about sta-bil no worky in their boats, yadda, yadda, yadda. Regrettably, none of them will tell you the whole story RE: their fuel in their tank has water in it, and water(or moisture)will cause interesting things when gasoline broke down during extended storage, causing green slime, gunk in carb bowl, orifices plugged, etc.

Lastly: read up on our resident tribologist (Molakule) postings back in 2003 RE: fuel stabilization postings:

Q.

Lastly: funny how a certain brand name of fuel treatment (name withheld, definitely not the one(s) mentioned on this posting) used to claim that their products can not only keep fuel fresh but also restore otherwise rancid/varnished gasoline to store-bought fresh... that has been on the internet for many years and recently as I re-visited their sites, they no longer made such exorbitant claims (all toned down, no more outrageous claims)...must be FTC behind the scene?
