I agree. I haven't had any issues running M1 5W-30, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the best option for my application.

Do you/FORD think that "hot" is 212dF or 305dF ?

That is, is "hot" mean fully warmed up, or does "hot" mean fresh off a through thrashing on the track?

It's more of a necessary 'cowl' hood than a "scoop".

And yeah, that is one SANO ride/installation, and a VERY cool engine swap idea!!

Here is an in car video from a race at Dayton, OH, in 2007 when it was running 12.9's.


Here is a video of the same run, shot from the grand stands.



Here is a video from last October, running 12.7's at Muncie, IN.


I haven't made it to the track yet this year, but the car is making another 63 rwhp and 36 rwtq than it did last season. I'd like to see 12.2's or better out of it this year.
