Hi, I've been lurking around here for about a year and finally decided to join in on the fun.:)

My Frontier wasn't running quite right (it turned out that the fuel filter was the problem), so it got a full tune up plus Seafoam.
I seafoamed(did I invent a new verb?:p) the truck, 1/2 the bottle sucked through brake booster vacuum line and 1/2 into the gas tank. I don't know how much engine cleaning it did, but the smoke display was quite entertaining!!

I've read that if use add Seafoam to the oil, you have to change the oil shortly thereafter. I didn't put any in the crankcase, so-- Do I need to change my oil??

Ya. Get the carbon chunks that may have blown by. I play it safe and change the oil after a good seafoaming.
Funny, the smoke only lasts a while then it gets faint or non-existant...So if it isn't the Seafoam making the smoke, it must be carbon and junk.

Yes! Where do you think all that junk goes? Some of it goes out the tail pipe and some goes into the oil! So you might as well add a can of Seafoam to the oil when the vechile is cold then drive it around for 30 minutes and then either change it yourself or have it changed. If anyone ask's if you have any solvents or additives in it say no. Most of the Seafoam is isoprop alch and will have burnt off before the oil is changed and it is not much of a solvent either. Seafoam is gently I use stronger stuff on my face to clear up acne!!!LOL
