OEM Honda motorcycle filter from my 1994 GL1500 Goldwing, 84,872 miles on bike, 3,872 on filter.

Interesting filter with no endcaps at all.

Looks very similar to the Honda Filtec A01 except with nitrile adbv and smaller. Also very similar element to green Hamp filter. Also Toyota Denso design.

Any coo on filter?

They've had this style of construction for years and years now. I just bought one for my Goldwing (can't find it at the moment), but they are made by Filtech.

Just noticed on this last one, that they're now made in china. :poop:

Honda has now sourced this filter out to a firm called "WAF TEC" and they're now made in China. :poop:

What's new from 2009, page updated in 2014... Looks really promising, lol.

Originals were made by the Japanese version of Fil-tech.
I've seen some auto filters made in China and Viet-Nam. They look decently
made. Quality depends on what the customer (bulk buyers) demands.

I use American made filters for autos. The filter for the Civic will fit the cycle engine.

My 2¢

If you go back to the Japanese version there is news from this year (all related to the situation which shall not be mentioned) break out the bing translate...

You must admit, that whole website is a total sketch-show. Compare it to something like the Ravenol site where it doesn't matter if you are doing German or English and you'd think these guys were operating out of their garage.
