back many years ago I worked part time at Jiffy Lube. We got to do oil changes on our cars when slow. I might (or might not) have used the bulk oil gun and maybe flushed a quart through a couple times.

Might have done more than one very short like 1000-1500 mile OCI's also.

It'd probably blow his mind running an oil filter more than one OCI with that quarter pint of old oil in there.

So fellow BITOGers, what’s your recommended oil pan change interval, OPCI? Do you always synchronize it with OCI, or could it be pushed a bit and change the pan only on every other oil change?

Should just jack up the car & have it lean towards the drain plug side a little if he was that worried about getting it all out!

Or just dump a gallon of Kerosene or Diesel in it with the drain plug out and be done with it.

What's really sad is if that thing doesn't get wrecked, someone is going to buy it used. For this guy I would say 25,000 mile OCI's are highly recommended.
