Northern Cal Air Quality - YUCK!

As everyone know California has been in the midst of horrible fires everywhere.

This grid comes from one of 3 different air cleaners in the house that also has a MERV-16 filter in the AC System that was on recirculate the entire week (ran half of every hour) so the air is being scrubbed pretty thoroughly.

This represents a week of buildup. Nasty.

The light mark is me smudging it with a finger.

Los Gatos is 77 AQI. Tomorrow should be better.
I'll take it. We were hitting 200 since August. 170 seemed decent.

West Coast has the worst air in the world right now, I believe.

We are having hazy skies around here in Texas from those fires, can't imagine what it is like there.

I snapped this picture of the sun setting tonight. You can see how hazy it is here in Chicagoland from the smoke. I believe the sun was as red as I've ever seen it, just before it disappeared.

We had haze last week from the fires. I've never seen anything like it before

The Valley Fire was 10 miles away from us. Our house reeked of smoke for days. When the wind finally shifted to the South we could breath again.
