Nippon 08922-02011A (Toyota) filter cut open

I'll try a white background this time:

This is a Nippon filter off of my Toyota truck from a couple of years ago. I found it today when I cut open the other filter. I would guess around 6 months / 3000 miles but I don't remember.

Very thick heavy can. Nice o-ring gasket with a lip (is that called a P-gasket?) Heavy coil spring in the dome. Nice soft (I assume silicone) ADBV. Made in Malaysia.

Looks like a well made filter . I'm sure someone can ID it as to it being a common made filter for other brands .

Yes nothing stands out looks like a well made filter good to see the orange silicone ADBV.

Are these metal end capped filters available at the Toyota dealers?

Looks like a very well made filter. Coil spring design, silicone adbv and p-type gasket. Wonder about the cost and availability, and if the design is the same for all the Nippons? Nice filter!

I buy them by the case for the shop. WorldPac sells them to me for about $3 a filter. They are much better made than the OE Honda and Yota filters of today. Importec also sells them. They used to have free shipping on orders $50 and up.

I like the large round center tube holes also looks like a nice free flowing filter.
