yannis,
will have to look at that duing my lunch break tomorrow (my speed is profiled at home at present...slow).

Bathurst is only 65 km away, and it's a great drive (public road). I remember when Gricey did the first average 100MPH lap, an utterly incredible feat.

I've got mates who hillclimb there. They do it backwards up from the straights. It's scarey to watch guys flat bickie half a hand width from a concrete wall.

I could only wish to do that good on my PS2. Just one question: Since they are race cars on a track, why do they have license plates? Surely those can't be driven everday?

RacerE7773, best I've done is a 2:10 on the PS2...can't string 161 of them together like the V-8 racers do every October.

How is it that his car seems to go much faster than all the others? Is his car tuned that much more than all the others? I didn't think they'd allow such wide tuning disparaties. It can't be that all the other drivers are just afraid to open it up.

It gets going so much faster because he doesn't lose speed through the corners and he knows how to drive it. You can really see it on the last big turn; he doesn't let off the gas at all. I bet all the cars are equal in tuning/power.
