good dose of calcium... thanks for doing this!
My guess is they are the same, other than a little extra seal conditioners in the HM version. So is the extended protection with maxlife 0w-20 better than the regular extended protection 0w-20?
I’ve been running the regular extended protection 0w-20 in my ram 1500 5.7 hemi for the last 20/25k miles.
Considering switching to this, unless it’s not any better than the standard version.
My engine is currently at 123,500 miles.
My next oil change will be due at 125,000 miles.
Been running OG Fram XG2 filters and still have about 6 or 7 of them left in my stash.
I’ve been running the standard extended protection at 5/6k Mile intervals.
The extended protection uses a GTL base per the sds too vs the regular just being a hydrocracked grp IIIMy guess is they are the same, other than a little extra seal conditioners in the HM version.
I was comparing the regular EP vs the high mileage EP.The extended protection uses a GTL base per the sds too vs the regular just being a hydrocracked grp III
Yeah that’s what I meant as well, the HM uses GTL when the regular EP does not according to the SDSI was comparing the regular EP vs the high mileage EP.
