I have a one-and-half car garage. With 4 screw in light sockets. Previously I had 4 120 EQ watt bright white CFL. They were pretty darn good. Time moves on.

Just bought one OUYIDE 250 EQ watt daylight LED. It's great and as expected, brighter than the old CFL. On Amazon, $19.00 each. Buying 3 more.

Good solution. I did something like that, although more complicated. Get a 5-socket adapter, and run 5 cheap Walmart 60 watt-equivalent LED bulbs (9 watts each).

A while back I hung a Light of America LED Utility Shoplight 40 watt 4200 Lumen 48" (4 feet) with pull On/Off. One piece Aluminum housing. Hanging hardware (chain) included. From Sam's Club, but Amazon has it too. Recommended if you don't mind hanging it.

Those shoplights are the real deal with downward firing leds much better
than the sideways led tube replacements.

My garage t8's are 40w florescent ~3500lumens each.

if only they were instant on. The LED tubes are better in the winter, but dim in the summer at 1750 lumens each.. and they arent downward firing so additional light loss vs a designed led fixture.
