New Fall Shows

Just curious what shows anybody is looking forward to this week, if any.

Myself, for new stuff, I'm gonna check out the "The Event" tonight or the replay on Saturday. The stupid trailers got me interested, hope it isnt a mirror of Lost.

For comedy, looking forward to "The Big Bang Theory", although it's not new I thought I'd throw it out there.

And 30 Rock.

I'm not much of a TV watcher anymore....but I am slightly interested to see the new 'Hawaii Five-0'. I used to love the old one and grew up watching it. I'm sure the new one will be full of PC writing and shallow characters. The last good show out of Hawaii was 'Magnum, P.I.'.

Big Bang is great.The family sometimes refers to me as 'Sheldon', when I get going on something,I hear "Stop,you're being a Sheldon".....Too funny

While not new, I'm eagerly anticipating the return of Fringe on Fox. I'm hooked on that the same way I was once hooked on X-Files.

NBC's Parenthood started its second season last week. Being married and a father of two, I can relate to it. I believe they refer to that as "misery loves company".

I too am looking forward to The Event and the return of The Big Bang Theory.

There are a few others that I may DVR and try, but rarely can they capture me enough to commit.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot about that. It'll be amusing to see the Detroit City Council and natives get all up in arms about depictions of crime and corruption, which frankly are probably pretty accurate.

Since we got Netflix streaming on the Panasonic BR player we have loaded the streaming queue with all the good shows we couldn't see due to never having cable ...
with the 10 mbps DSL upgrade coming next week, we will be seeing them in HD soon..

I'll ck out the new H 5-0 tonight- just to see how bad it really is. Prediction- there'll be lots of PC and sensless arguing over nothing.

The Event looks interesting- but they'll probaqbly mess that up real quick, if not immediately.

Same here man! I don't need to pay to have commercials broadcast into my living room. I don't watch any of it, but my wife has me get The Office and Dexter for her.
I used to watch Trailer Park Boys, but alas it is no more. That was the single best show on TV. Sometimes I'll download a cooking show or two. I love to watch Julia Child.
