New Computer To Run Windows 11 - Recommendations On MS Office Packages?

I've had surprisingly good luck with those severly discounted office and windows packages.

Those cheap grey market keys are still a gamble, and can be revoked by MS.

What's funniest is when buyers find that the key they've been sent has already been activated, according to MS, and then the seller responds by saying "no problem, here's another, try this one."

No reading between the lines required as to the what the nature of situation is.

And I doubt paying $40, versus $20, or the ultra cheap ones on eBay makes any difference as to the risk.

I am in basically in same situation. Rebuilt Windows 11 and lost an old version of Word and Excel.

Not going to pay for subscription based software.

I downloaded OpenOffice. Again. I had it and then got a really discounted copy of MS office products. But they are old now. And cannot seem to download the old versions.

For the handful of letters and spreadsheets I use Open Office will do
