This is my new 2015 Honda Accord Sport 6 speed manual. This car was in the showroom with only 5 miles on it. There was one other 6 speed on the lot with 46 miles they were trying to sell me( see last picture), but as soon as I saw the one in the showroom I wasn't going to walk away with the one everyone has test driven. The dealership pretty much gave it away seeing as no one prefers a stick shift over an automatic(cvt) anymore, and the 2016 models are coming in pretty hot. This thing is a blast to drive and will really scoot for a 4 banger. My wife and I love it and it had plenty of room for our two kids. Nice replacement for my 94 accord I recently got rid of after 15 years of ownership.

I really like the lines of that car, kudos to you for going manual, the 1991 Accord EX-R I had was a 5sp and there are times I wish I still had the control a manual offers.

Additionally, the best way to ensure nobody is texting and driving is to give them a stick!

Nice choice, and the Accord stick is a great drive.

I hope Honda refuses to cave in and only offer automatics in the USA. I can remember back in the mid eighties when almost 70% of all the vehicles they sold were manuals.

70 percent? Maybe like 50.....most of the stuff I have seen has been an auto......

Sweet ride! Really like the look of the current gen Accord. With the stick, that's an easy 250,000 mile car right there.

I'm talking about the mid 80s time frame, I worked in a Honda store and at that time most of what we sold in my area (SE PA) was manual shift. You could save at least 1000$ with that choice and back then many people still knew how to drive stick, or could find someone who would teach them.

I helped my sister shop for an Accord Sport in June. It's a great sedan and a true bargain. Congratulations!

Very limited color choice on the manuals, right?

I wanted a manual Element in 2009 and Honda was building them in Ohio, but you could not order one to your Dealer...they decide where to send them. After many emails to American Honda they told me to fly to St Louis or Boston or pay to have one trucked to N Mexico.

I passed!

Excellent choice; particularly the 6-spd MT. I know from personal experience that 6-spd Accord Sport models are difficult to find, and it's usually because the dealers don't want to order them. It's almost a certainty that this generation Accord will be the last we'll see of MTs. We chose wisely, IMHO.

jfi, for 2016 Honda increased the color choices for Sport models by two. You can now buy a white one and a great looking red in addition to black and grey.

Congratulations on your new purchase

Just to clarify, you said the manual was cheaper than the automatic? If so, not only is your car better to drive an it's counterpart but a bargain as well!

If only your countrymen were as wise as you are..

I would love an Accord Sport 6 speed.

The interior is nice, the Exterior looks way nicer than it should for what the car costs.
