Netflix doesnt work right anymore

Audio/video out of sync, Audio is OK video lags.

WAS working fine until a few days ago..

Uninstalled/reinstalled Silverlight
Does this on Firefox, IE, Chrome

????????????????????????

^^^ And there was a time I would probably know EXACTLY what to do. That time is no more.

I feel old and I want to watch this movie.

I am running ClassicShell

It was doing it for me a couple of days ago. It was way off, not just a little. It was so bad I couldn't stand to watch the thing.

that computer is super anemic for netflix

maybe try in firefox with flashplayer if it can offload the flash to the GPU
also no more than 480p

That's where I'm at. The thing is, it WAS working perfect, and I was watching "To catch a thief" and now the audio is like two-five minutes in front of the video and I cant watch..

I cancelled the Netflix (again) already but I watched the first half off final season of Breaking Bad (love it, another good show ends, twice, three times?) without issue, now it is unwatchable...

I'm thinking that it has to be something with your hardware. My family watches Netflix daily through our Rokus and we never have any audio/video synchronization issues.

Probably still on topic: does anyone know how Netflix's server hardware is set up? Do they have multiple server farms across the country to service different areas? Perhaps your local-to-you Netflix server farm was experiencing trouble.

it comes with 3 monthes of netflix also..

+1

My 5 year old T500 suffers the same at times but more choppy video. I got the Chromecast and get amazing picture now. I guess it works at 1080p resolution which my $50 sony blue-ray player with extremely clunky apps built in apparently was not doing.

The processing is not done on your computer but instead on the Chromecast device.
