Craftsman have always worked well for me as well as any GearWrench product. Both companies are easy to work with if a tool needs replacement. But I have only had to replace 2 of my many Craftsman tools some I've had since 1985. No matter what brand you purchase many tools of any brand will fail or break if missused or abused. I highly recommend Craftsman and they have some good sales and join the Craftsman club for even more savings. Check out some of the smaller catalog stores for some excellent clearance deals. Also do not invest to heavily in SAE since the majority of the vehicles use metric for all fasteners etc. In fact all new cars do.
